Santa Cruz, Calif. - June 24, 2008 - Bio Career Center has developed a new way for life science post graduates to enhance their skills and knowledge while meeting potential employers.
 
Introducing the Expert Seminar Program - a dual-purpose service that provides employers a chance to meet potential candidates, and vice versa, while giving life science Ph.D.’s and M.D.’s the opportunity to perfect their networking, interviewing and business etiquette skills.
 
"We saw an opportunity to work with two powerful speakers, Lisa Marshall and Mary Mitchell, who have worked with scientists for many years,” said Nick Folger, president of Bio Career Center. “We believe their expertise in science communications and business etiquette is a perfect match for our program.”
 
The seminars will be hosted by Bio Career Center member universities and will be podcasted on www.BioCareerCenter.com. Those attending will be able to interact with the speaker and sponsor employers through mock interviews, networking luncheons and more.
